Just a quick post today.  The windows are in - the sills still need installed, but the exterior doors are being hung today, so we will be enclosed.  We are also starting on the ceiling drywall so we can get the attic insulated and get some heat in the building.  The site is a muddy mess, so I am actually hoping for a freeze so the mud doesn't get tracked into the building so much.

Shingles and Insulation

Well we finally have a complete roof!  The foam insulation in the block walls was installed on Thursday.  You can see from the pictures how the foam is pumped into the wall through little holes (which are then cleaned and plugged) and expands to fill the cavities in the block. Windows, facia and soffit, exterior doors, etc should start next week as well as some of the HVAC.  We have boarded up the main door and the doggie doors, so once the windows and other exterior doors are in the building will be enclosed and weather tight.   As you can see we have a dumpster on site temporarily so we can get the site cleaned up and the trash out of the way.  Due to the size of the site, the dumpster will come and go as needed so it doesn't take up room.  Feel free to drive by and look at the building as the exterior is starting to come together.
